Not planning on anything formal here, but it's a start:
December 09

Danny the champion of the world: Adorable, passionate dad and his boy Danny.
(Re-read Secret scribbled notebooks again *cough*)
My candlelight novel: Sequel to Secret scribbled notebooks. Just as lyrical and beautiful. Bonus points for the no-fuss, grounded fling Sophie has with a woman she met at uni.
Mahalia: short novel about 17 year old Matt who becomes a single dad to the beautifully named baby Mahalia after Emily leaves. Realistic -- gets the monotony of day-to-day life down pat.
Little wing: Emily's story. Short novel about her emerging from post-natal depression. Depressing, in a realistic way :P
1984: Finally got around to reading it. Am slightly bemused by Orwell's politics, and I'm reminded that these were Men, writing for Men. *resigned shrug*

ETA: Just checked the finer details, and $30 for a skin, plus $20 shipping tips over the Slashmas budget even before the exchange rate. Sadface!

So, my wishlist yadda, yadda. :) I'll probably be adding to it a bit over the next few days, but not all that much.

Oh, my heart. Alona Tal, and especially Samantha Ferris, did you act the hell out of that. *cries a little* I get that the storyline is narrowing back down to 'the boys are all alone, again' but that hurt, and was also the best damn way they could have gone out, barring actually being there for the final showdown.

Seven Deadly Sins. I know nothing about it, except it has Samantha Ferris in second billing. We should watch it.

Also! Crowley! Hat tip to you, dude. You were fabulous. I want to see more of you.

I impulse bought, but the thought of staying home is far more appealing for various reasons, and Ticketmaster, naturally enough, appears to be glad to accept impulse purchases, but not impulse refunds.

Dear Flist! Microsoft Publisher 2007 help

Okay, I'm trying to print a single A3 page in Publisher. I've selected the A3 Portrait (29.7 x 42cm) option, typed in my text which appeared to be all on one page and just fine, but when I go to print preview it displays as spread over four sheets. wtf? Any ideas?

In sum:
Selecting A4 Portrait gets a display of one sheet in Print Preview, but A3 displays 4 sheets, and insists on printing four, and setting margins only understood to itself. Help?

(Note: I can't use Word, alas, because of font issues -- I grabbed a font from the internet that watermarks in Word, but not in Publisher or Photoshop, thankfully)

My mood's been all over the place today: anxiety, bad self-talk and resurgence of the reflux, and it's all happening with a whole day buffering between me and Monday. On the other hand, I drove out to a hospital I had no idea was down the road, had a blood test and stopped by the shops for a paper and processed protein, all utterly painless and without too much forethought (this is worth noting). There was also discussion and love with samvara, though, which helped. And there are baby things!

Rescued baby duckling! and Baby Mongoose! Seriously, watch that video. If you don't spend it going "D'awwww!" you have no soul, cos I said so. :P
